Transforming Careers in Mental Health for BIPOC

Therapists of New York’s 2nd Annual (Epic) Party with Book Launch Event

Thursday, April 10 · 6:30pm EDT

Therapists of New York invites you to an evening of community building and celebration of “Transforming Careers in Mental Health for BIPOC“.

Join us for an evening of celebration, connection, and community as we honor the vital and diverse contributions of the New York mental health community.

In challenging times, we lift up voices of hope, resistance, and resilience—this year, we will be featuring Transforming Careers in Mental Health for BIPOC, the recent book edited by Doris Chang, Ph.D., and Linda Lausell Bryant, Ph.D. We’ll toast its publication, hear from the editors, and honor the contributors.

Our hope is that you will come for the program, and stay for the party. Enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres, great conversation-and possibly dancing! Let’s eat, drink, and build community together.

Sincerely,

Eli Bock, Ali Shames-Dawson, and Sophia Williams-Kapten in collaboration with Doris Chang and Linda Lausell Bryant
